Summary of Isaiah

Nephi does his best to help us understand the key parts of the teaching of Isaiah he references in 1 Nephi 20 and 21. 1 Nephi 22 is his explanation of the key parts of the previous 2 chapters. He answers a question from his brothers and then explains the meanings of the Isaiah prophecies. The basic message is that 1) God will gather the righteous, 2) he will destroy the wicked, 3) to be righteous, just repent -

28 But, behold, all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people shall dwell safely in the Holy One of Israel if it so be that they will^arepent.

Repentance is key to being close to the Lord.
